Athletes must live in Oakville.

The Oakville D Basketball Club offers a basketball program for athletes who are new to basketball and for athletes who are developing their skills to compete with other D Level teams within Region 5. Both team skills and individual skills are taught. Athletes participate in friendly competition within the Club and with other Special Olympics Ontario basketball teams. The emphasis is on competing and good sportsmanship. Athletes are encouraged to perform at their best, in both teamwork and individual play.

Athletes must:

• wear WHITE t-shirt, shorts or track pants, indoor shoes.
• bring a Basketball (size 7) & water bottle.
• DO NOT wear Jeans.

All NEW athletes will be placed on our waiting list!! Contact Team Manager and submit a request in the portal.

Mondays, there will be two shifts:

Athletes and Volunteers new to Special Olympics Ontario (SOO) must first register with SOO. Athletes and Volunteers must be enrolled in the current session of a program in order to participate.

Registration and Enrollment both are done through the Special Olympics Membership Portal
