The Special Olympic 2011 World Games are now over in Athens!

Canada has sent a Rhythmic Gymnastics team of five to these games. Amazingly four of these athletes, and their head coach are from the Oakville club. The picture here shows the whole team at a pre-competition event.

Christina Campbell (Chesterville) Level 4 Gold: Ball, Clubs, Ribbon, All Around Silver: Hoop
Stephanie Vandamme (Oakville) Level 2 Gold: Hoop, Ribbon Bronze: Ball, Clubs, All Around
