Every year, SOO Oakville Community Council recognizes the accomplishments of four athletes. Awards are usually
presented at the last council meeting of the calendar year. The awards are:
- Male and Female Athlete of the Year
- Moncrieff Award for All Round Athlete. Plaque displayed at Community Living Oakville.
- Danny Pedersen Award. Recipient to be decided on by the 5-Pin Bowling Coaches. Plaque displayed at
Community Living Oakville. After 2007 this award is no longer presented at council.
- Coach of the Year. This is was a new award in 2007, and is not intended to be
presented every year.
